Name: PERA and 3 Things You Must Know about Your Retirement
Date: March 10, 2020
Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM MDT
Event Description:
  1. The Secure Act of 2019: How will this affect you planning for or living in retirement
  2. Maximization of Benefits: Knowing the benefits available and applicable to you.
  3. Strategize your Pension, Social Security, other Assets, and Tax Management: There are many options, however, what suits your retirement goals and financial objectives?
The goal of this presentation is to provide you with facts that will trigger more questions related to your unique situation. Only then, you will know what you do not know. We will provide you with tools to help you identify the most important parts of your retirement planning. For example, budget, inflation, longevity, taxes, special needs family members, inheritance, blended family, other pensions, Social Security, health insurance, the age to retire, and others. Having this information would empower you to strategize your financial plan. Even though you are a PERA member, your financial plan may be very different than another PERA member.
If you are a spouse of a PERA member, you must learn how the pension works.
