Pro Auto Spa is kicking off the spring car show season by hosting the first Simply Fresh Indoor and Outdoor Car Show in Colorado Springs tomorrow, Saturday, May 18 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The entrance opens at 9:00 a.m. The show is also an Open House for Pro Auto Spa who has seen burgeoning growth in the past year, moving from a small 5,000-square foot shop this past winter into their new expansive 45,000-square-foot automotive cosmetics studio at 4710 Northpark Drive.
The California-based car show producers hold an annual car show in Denver; however, this weekend’s event will be the first time a Simply Fresh Car Show event has come to Colorado Springs. They provide professional show judges and participant support for high quality automotive events and local meets in areas where enthusiasm for fine automobiles, exotics and classic cars is part of the lifestyle and culture.
“Several of our customers have asked us about bringing Simply Fresh here,” said owner Joanna Smith, whose husband and business partner Ryan, is dually certified (CD, SV) by the International Detailing Association (IDA) and by the “Detailer of Air Force One”, Renny Doyle of Detailing Success. He is also a member of the Adam’s Polishes’ Barrett Jackson Detailing Team in West Palm Beach, FL and Scottsdale, AZ.
“We felt like a car show was the perfect opportunity to invite the public in to visit our new facility and introduce advanced esthetic car care services no one else in the area offers. It is also a free family-friendly event where the community can participate either by entering their vehicle for competition or by just coming out to enjoy a meal from the onsite Heavenly Dogs and Shredded Beast food trucks, listen to some good music from a local deejay, and enjoy strolling through and admiring all makes and models of vehicles.”
Car owners can enter vehicles all the way up until Saturday, the day of the show. The entry fee is $20 per vehicle. The expert Simply Fresh judges will award 1st and 2nd Place trophies in each of 15 car classes including European makes, exotics, VIP, interiors, etc.
The Smiths lead a team of automotive detailers, paint correction specialists, ceramic coatings installers, and paintless dent repair (PDR) experts who can help prep your vehicle for competition. Pro Auto Spa also offers hail damage repair; wheel, scratch, and glass repair; window tint; and Paint Protection Film (PPF).
“No one associated with Pro Auto Spa will be judging the show, but our team can sure increase your odds of winning with a full detail, paint enhancement, ceramic coating, dent repairs and a variety of esthetics to give your entry that special car show flair,” said Smith. “We hope to make the show an annual Spring event the community can look forward to and participate in every year.”
