Join us for an empowering morning at our Women Business Owner’s Roundtable.

Learn more about Small Business resources and get answers to questions about starting or growing your business. Whether you are looking for an on-demand library of short videos answering commonly asked questions or a roadmap to help you get started, we have tools for you. Tools are available to help estimate costs for the permits your business may need. The City of Colorado Springs also has a Small Business Development Administrator who is our lead small business assistance staff member on our team, and she can also be your main point of contact for assistance, follow-up, and any needs you have throughout the business process.

As a member-focused initiative, this roundtable offers a unique 90-minute format expertly facilitated with timely topics important to small business owners with dedicated time for networking, member introductions, topical discussions, and a robust Q&A session. Held at the SCWCC Office at New Altitude Co-working Space, this event promises a conducive environment for meaningful connections. Attendance is free for members and $20 for non-members. Shakanah Tedder
City of Colorado Springs

Shakanah Tedder is a Small Business Development Administrator in the City of Colorado Springs Economic Development Division.  Shakanah serves as a liaison to the small business community by assisting with government regulatory processes, connecting entrepreneurs to appropriate services, and collaborating with agencies to simplify regulatory processes. Shakanah provides useful resources and programs alongside those our private partners provide. She also serves as the main point of contact for the Colorado Springs for Small Business Advancement (COSSBA) advisory group. As a long time Colorado resident she graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Open to women owners of LLCs and small business corporations.
