The Heart and stroke Walk is the American Heart Association's premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 4 killers - heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the event creates an environment that's fun and rewarding for the entire family. The money raised at the Heart and Stroke Walk will help fund ground-breaking research and support a number of life-saving programs run by the AHA. We're all in this fight together, and with your help we'll come out on top!
The 2014 Southern Colorado Heart and Stroke Walk is on June 14 at the UCCS Campus-West Lawn and a Pueblo location (TBD). Participants always have a great time and any excuse to get up and walk is a good one in our books!
