Wine Tasting Class: Red Hot Summer...Noirs

Most of heard of Pinot Noir...and...as it turns out there is a whole bunch of additional wine varietals that include the word Noir, which is French for “black”.  Ever heard of Grenache Noir? Nero d’Avola? Baco Noir? Corinto Nero? Grolleau Noir? Is there a difference in flavors and nucances? Indeed...and we are so happy to share all the dark, not always dirty, but certainly delicious details! 

Curious Palate Tasting Classes explore a variety of wine regions grouped into geographical themes to best focus on how terroir ("a sense of place") works and the differences between Old World, New World and somewhere-in the-middle styles. Class themes are set, but specific regions and wines are subject to change depending on what is fabulous and fun that fit into the class themes.
