My last position provided leadership to approximately 1\,800 employees across Colorado Springs as well as 750 Insurance Service Professionals across other USAA locations. Since 2011\, served as the senior officer responsible for site management\, community affairs\, employee safety\, business continuation\, philanthropic support\, and military/government relations. One of my focuses was on the overall culture of the campus. To this end\, USAA in Colorado Springs was named a Top Workplace in Colorado in the large employer category by the Denver Post and Energage for a number of years and the #1 Workplace in the state in 2015 and 2017. \n\n\n\nKent is still active in the community and state. He is the Vice-Chair of the Colorado Springs Military Affairs Council and will be the Chair in 2022. He is a board member on the University of Colorado (UC) Foundation and on the Board of the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC. Was the Chairman of the Board for the Pikes Peak United Way (2014-2017) and participated in the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Execs Advocacy Program (2019). He was a mentor for UCCS Boots to Suits program\, and facilitated for the UCCS "Leader U" program a leadership class for UCCS athletes.
