Shawn Murray
Shawn Murray is President, Senior Consultant and Chief Academic Officer at Murray Security Services, is an experienced Cyber Security Professional and is an officer in the US Civil Air Patrol. His previous assignments include work with the United States Missile Defense Agency, US Army Cyber Command in Europe, US Air Force and with Commercial Industry in various roles in Information Assurance and Cyber Security. He has traveled the globe performing physical and Cyber Security assessments on critical national defense and coalition programs and has prepared reports for the House Armed Services Committee. Dr. Murray has worked with NSA, FBI, CIA and the US Defense and State Departments on various Cyber initiatives and has over 20 years of IT, communications and Cyber Security experience. He has presented as a featured or keynote speaker for numerous conferences across the globe and enjoys teaching and presenting as a guest lecturer on Cyber Security, business and computer science courses at his Cyber Academy and for several universities. He has several industry recognized certifications to include the C|CISO, CISSP and CRISC. He holds several degrees to include an Applied Doctorate in Computer Science with a concentration in Enterprise Information Systems. Dr. Murray was reelected to the International Board of Directors, most recently as the COO for the Information Systems Security Association. He is a professional member of IEEE, ACM, ISSA, (ISC)² and is a FBI Infragard program partner. He enjoys spending time traveling with his family, researching and collaborating with other professionals in Cyber Security and Cyber Law and plays soccer on a local league in Colorado Springs
Rodney Gullatte
Rodney Gullatte, Jr., is a community leader, US Air Force Veteran, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Chief Information Security Officer, Certified Network Defense Architect and another 13 certifications. He is the CEO of Firma IT Solutions which is a Managed IT and Cybersecurity service provider for businesses from healthcare and real estate brokerages to automotive repair and home improvement. With a background in Information Technology and Cybersecurity that includes Department of Defense, retail, healthcare, casinos, utility companies and more, Rodney has developed Firma IT Solutions to bring enterprise technology solutions to businesses in the Pikes Peak Region and across the country. He comes to Colorado Springs by way of Key West, FL where his wife was stationed in the Air Force. This is his 5th community as a military family and his wife, Iris, just retired after 20 years from the Air Force. In the short span of 7 years, Rodney has established himself in Colorado Springs as a transformational business and community leader.
His latest accomplishments are becoming the first Black President of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs (2020-2021), winner of Colorado Springs Business Journal Best in Business 2017 #1 Cybersecurity Company, recipient of the Colorado Springs Business Journal Rising Stars Class of 2018 award, winner of the 2020 Mayor’s Young Leaders Award in Technology and Sustainability, winner of the 2020 Front Range Power Connectors Networker of the Year, founder of the Colorado Springs Black Business Network and the winner of Small Business Week 2019 Veteran Business Owner of the Year.
He is President & CEO of the Colorado Springs Black Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Springs Conservatory, Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC, Better Business Bureau of Colorado Springs, Rotary Club of Colorado Springs and The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region. He is an alumni of the Colorado Springs Mayor’s Civic Leaders Fellowship, Colorado Governor’s Fellowship Class of 2022 and Colorado Springs Leadership Institute Class of 2019. He is most currently an Honorary Commander of the US Air Force Academy.
Rodney leverages his multiple affiliations to help grow his sphere of influence to help others succeed. This philosophy of “Givers Gain” has brought him success in business and among the community.
